Rick Baker is President and CEO of the Grand Rapids Chamber, a role he has held since 2011. A longtime Chamber professional, Baker brings decades of experience in business leadership and community development, working to strengthen West Michigan’s business climate and overall quality of life.

Baker has been an advocate for collaboration across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Through the Grand Rapids Chamber and Chamber Foundation, he has supported regional efforts to expand housing and address homelessness, including 100 in 100 Kent County and the Downtown Pathways Project. He has helped bring business leaders and community partners to the table to support solutions that improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness while strengthening the broader community.
