Paulo Ghedini (English)
Graduated in Business Administration from FGV (EAESP), earned an MBA with honors from Wharton, with concentrations in Accounting and Competitive Strategy, and has been a CFA charterholder since 2006.
He began his career at Merrill Lynch in January 2001 on the LatAm Investment Banking/M&A team, later moving to the Equities trading desk, where he held various roles—including Proprietary Trading, Sales Trading, and Research Sales—until March 2006, when he joined Credit Suisse as Vice President on the LatAm Sales Trading team.
In March 2009, he moved to Barclays Capital in London to build the LatAm Equities Brokerage business for Europe, where he served as Director until the start of his MBA.
After completing the MBA, he joined the Equity Research team at M Square (now VELT) and became an Associate in early 2015. In September 2015, he left M Square to become a partner at Perfin, where he worked as an Equity Research Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager for 10 years.
He served on the Board of Students for Liberty Brazil from 2016 to 2020, has been a Board Member of the Mises Institute Brazil since 2018, and is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Christian Libertarian Institute.

Iniciou sua carreira na Merrill Lynch em Jan/2001 no time de IB/M&A de Latam, e depois transferiu-se para a mesa de operações de ações, onde teve diferentes funções (Prop. Trading, Salestrading e Research Sales) até Mar/2006, quando aceitou juntar-se ao time do Credit-Suisse como VP do time de Latam Salestrading.
Em Mar/2009, transferiu-se para o Barclays Capital em Londres para montar o business de Latam Equities Brokerage para a Europa, onde ficou como Diretor até o começo do MBA.
Após o MBA uniu-se ao time de Equity Research da M Square (atualmente VELT) e virou Associado no início de 2015. Em Set/2015 saiu da M Square para se juntar como sócio da Perfin, onde foi Equity Research analyst e co-Gestor por 10 anos.
Foi do conselho do Students for Liberty Brazil de 2016 a 2020, é do conselho do Instituto Mises Brasil desde 2018, e é fundador e presidente do conselho do Instituto Libertário Cristão.
