Rafael Nogueira (English)
Rafael Nogueira is a historian and philosopher, with postgraduate studies in Education, a Master’s degree in Law with an emphasis on the history of Brazilian Law from Veiga de Almeida University (UVA), and is currently a doctoral candidate in Political Science at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
He has held prominent positions in Brazil’s cultural administration, having served as President of the National Library Foundation (2019–2022) — one of the ten largest in the world —, National Secretary for the Creative Economy (2022), Parliamentary Secretary (early 2023), and President of the Santa Catarina Foundation for Culture (2023–2024).
He currently serves as Executive Secretary at InvestSC, where he coordinates strategic investment initiatives for the State of Santa Catarina.
He is also a university professor, coordinating and teaching in the History and Philosophy programs at the Catholic Italo-Brazilian University Center (UniÍtalo).
Rafael has been invited as a consultant and interviewee in audiovisual and cinematic productions focused on Brazilian history and culture, particularly with the production company Brasil Paralelo.
He is also dedicated to the formation of young leaders, with an emphasis on education, culture, and civic engagement.

Rafael Nogueira é historiador e filósofo, pós-graduado em Educação, mestre em Direito com ênfase na história do Direito brasileiro pela Universidade Veiga de Almeida (UVA), e doutorando em Ciência Política pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC).
Ocupou cargos de destaque na gestão cultural do país, tendo sido presidente da Fundação Biblioteca Nacional (2019–2022) — uma das dez maiores do mundo —, Secretário Nacional da Economia Criativa (2022), Secretário Parlamentar (início de 2023), e presidente da Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (2023–2024).
Atualmente, exerce a função de Secretário-Executivo na InvestSC, onde atua na articulação de investimentos estratégicos para o Estado de Santa Catarina.
É professor universitário, coordenando e lecionando nos cursos de História e Filosofia do Centro Universitário Católico Ítalo-Brasileiro (UniÍtalo).
Tem sido convidado como consultor e entrevistado em produções audiovisuais e cinematográficas voltadas à história e à cultura nacional, em especial com produtora Brasil Paralelo.
