Join us on November 11th at 6:00pm

Please join us on November 11th at 6:00pm for a lecture with Dan Churchwell as he explores themes of technology and the human person. The lecture will be followed by Q&A.

Title: Is Technology a Threat to Our Humanity?

Lecture Description: Given the rapid adoption of new technologies, we hear constant commentary promising a future either fantastical or dire. Techno-optimists promise that artificial intelligence and machine learning will solve most of our problems, while techno-pessimists see a techastrophe looming over the horizon. By focusing specifically on what it means to be human and its implications for our tech ecosystem, this lecture will cut through the noise to explore the profound ways technologies shape our daily lives.

Time: 18:00

Thank you to the Széchenyi István College for Advanced Studies for co-hosting on this event.

Lecture Address:

Corvinus University Budapest, Building C, Lecture Room VII
