The Acton Institute is bringing the distinctive spirit of its flagship global conference, Acton University, to Brazil once again. Paulo Guedes

Paulo Guedes is a Brazilian economist and co-founder of the investment bank BTG Pactual. A University of Chicago–trained Ph.D. in economics, he served as Brazil's Minister of the Economy from 2019 to 2022, where he led a sweeping pro-business agenda of privatization and pension reform.

Antônio Cabrera

Antônio Cabrera Mano Filho is President of the Cabrera Group, a three-generation family agribusiness enterprise operating across 10 Brazilian states. At age 29, he became Brazil's youngest-ever federal cabinet minister as Minister of Agriculture and Land Reform, later serving as Secretary of Agriculture and Supply for the State of São Paulo. He is a Director of the Brazilian Bible Society and a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and The Philadelphia Society
